Our Story

Like all good stories ours started around a campfire with friends and family. Our get togethers are always full of good stories, good food, good drinks and a few wild ideas.

Inspired by one of these ideas we Crafted the first batch of Death Apple at home using quality ingredients and a secret apple pie spice recipe. The result was so good it became an instant tradition!

Knowing we had made something delicious and unique we knew right away we should share it with everyone! This started the journey to bring

Death Apple to a shelf near you.

It was a long road with a fair share of obstacles, failures and life lessons. two years ago at the brink of it all falling apart we read about the deadly beauty of the manchineel apple. newly inspired we forged ahead!

Now with the support of some old friends, some great new friends & our family we have created the Death Apple we proudly share with you today.

Death Apple

a tradition long in the making.

The legendary Manchineel tree can be found around the Caribbean and northern tropics. The tree is known to produce a milky-white sap which contains numerous toxins in every part of the tree. This includes the bark, the leaves and the tempting apple like fruit.

Because of its deadly nature the Spanish nicknamed

the Fruit of the tree

"Manzanilla de la Muerte"

or

"Little Apple of Death".

Though Death Apple does not contain any actual parts of the Manchineel tree it is known to have its own legendary side effects if you dare to drink too much.
